2024-2025 Registration Information

Annual Membership Fee: $40 for the first dancer, $15 per additional dancer

TUITION PRICING

First 45 minute class: $58 per month

60 minute class: $72 per month

30 minute class: $47 per month

**There is a multiclass discount offered for accounts taking multiple classes. Classes 2-3 are discounted $5, classes 4-5 are discounted $10, classes 6-7 are discounted $15, and classes 8-10 are discounted $20.

Tuition is billed monthly per account. No statements will be sent. A monthly email is sent with a reminder of tuition due.

COMPETITION TEAMS

The Dancer's Edge Competition Teams are by audition only. Dancers on TDE Competition Teams compete at a minimum of three competitions a year in 1-7 group dances. Auditions are held in May/June. Additional private auditions are available upon request.

LEVEL DESCRIPTIONS

All recreational classes are designated by the dancer's age as of October 15, 2024. A dancer must start the year in the class of his/her age group but may be placed in a different class with teacher approval after the 3rd week of class.

ACROBATS PLACEMENT

• Tumble Bugs – Introductory, Ages 3-4 (no requirements)
• Level 1 – Introductory, Minimum Age 5 Years (no requirements)
• Level 2 – Dancers must have both cartwheels, somersault and stand up, handstand, bridge from standing, and backwards somersault.
• Level 3 - Dancers must have all Level 2 skills, front limber, backbend kickover and both walkovers. 

MINI & JUNIOR PERFORMANCE JAZZ GROUPS

This opportunity is for dancers looking for more performance opportunity without the commitment of a competition team. The main focus of these groups is fun and expression through dance!  Dancers will learn a Jazz dance to perform at three local community events, our Competition Pep Rally and Recital. In addition to the Performance Jazz Class, dancers must be enrolled in an age appropriate Ballet/Tap class.  All community performances will occur December-May.

Spring Break: March 14th-20th, 2025

Memorial Day: May 26th NO CLASS

Last Day of Classes: June 2nd, 2025

Dress Rehearsal: June 5th and 6th, 2025

Recitals 2025: June 7th, 2025

Inclement Weather Policy

It is our policy to cancel classes when weather permits. However, weather may clear up or get worse as the day progresses. We will email and place a message on our Facebook page by 2 p.m. regarding the status of classes for that day. Our season allows for one snow day per day of classes. Any other cancellations will have a scheduled makeup date. The Dancer's Edge will not close if schools are closed due to wind chill temperatures.
